Titan and other Infra Light Source Devices
Overview:
An infrared red light source drives heat into the deep dermis where the destruction of tissue generates new collagen.
Expected results:
Variable degree of tightening of the skin on the face, neck and body.
Preparation:
Topical anesthesia.
Post treatment instructions:
None
Time to desired results:
Skin tightening becomes noticeable after 3-6 months. Good results may be achieved with one treatment. On average, 2-3 treatments give desired results.
Contraindications:
None. Infrared light is considered safe on all skin types.
Duration of desired effects:
Several years (exact duration is unknown at this time)
Downtime:
Mild redness for less than 24 hours

#12011-05-27 15:59:15The only (minor) thing that I was disappointed in was that when I booked the appt. via phone, I was told that in addition to my cosmetic questions and consult, the Dr. would also be able to do my full body check. It turned out that there was not enough time to do both.

#42025-12-06Complain to the insurance industry that they cove too little, complain to the product manufactures that they truely charge too much for the products. I feel that the industry in general is very slow to treat because of insurance allowances. Patients have busy work schedules and pay for monthly coverage that covers too little. In one hour or less could do what multiple appointments do to remove or treat small skin defects require many visits. Should provide payment better incentives.
