Dr. Ringpfeil graduated from medical school and started her dermatology training in Dusseldorf, Germany. In 1990, she was invited by the chairman of dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University to join his department. After completing residency and receiving board certification, she joined the faculty at Jefferson, specializing in cosmetic and pediatric dermatology.
She has authored numerous scientific papers in major professional journals, authored and co-authored several chapters in the leading textbooks for dermatology, and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
She received the Young Investigator Award by the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as an award by the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for outstanding teaching faculty. She serves as a vice chair for the Dermatology Foundation, the nation's leading supporter for dermatologic research. Dr. Ringpfeil is listed on the expert panel of F.I.R.S.T. (Foundation for ichthyosis and related disorders) and she is a member on the advisory board for NAPE (National Aassociation for Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum).
In addition, she volunteers her time at Camp Discovery, a camp for children with the most severe skin diseases.
Dr. Abraham completed a residency in Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. At Mount Sinai, she gained a breadth of experience while taking care of a diverse patient population. During her final year of residency, she served as chief resident. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Abraham went on to pursue subspecialty training in Dermatopathology at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
During her medical training, Dr. Abraham presented at both regional and national meetings and published numerous papers in general dermatology and dermatopathology. Dr. Abraham is board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology.
Previously, Dr. Abraham graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studied Anthropology and Theater. She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Abraham grew up in the Philadelphia area and is excited to return and serve the community in which she was raised.
Dr. Bird completed her dermatology residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, during which she served as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Bird gained a rich experience caring for a diversity of patients both medically and surgically.
Dr. Bird Is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She published several papers in general dermatology and dermapathology and presented at both regional and national meetings.
Prior to Brown University, Dr. Bird trained as a medical intern at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was awarded the Merck Award for Academic Excellence as well as the Samuel Spiegel, M.D. Memorial Award for clinical honors. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, where she served as the chapter’s vice president.
Dr. Bird is originally from Mountain Home, Idaho and received her undergraduate degrees in Business Finance and Mathematics from the University of Idaho.
Linda has been practicing in dermatology since 1999. She graduated with high honors from the MCP/Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program in 1997 and was the recipient of the David Buck Memorial Award for academic and clinical excellence.
Linda earned her B.A. in psychology from Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey in 1978 where she graduated summa cum laude and was the valedictorian of her graduating class.
Linda is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.
Christine Bitetti received her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she graduated with highest honors. Prior to working at Ringpfeil Advanced Dermatology, she practiced general dermatology and dermatologic surgery at two highly reputable dermatology centers in Maryland and Southern Massachusetts.
Christine is licensed in Pennsylvania and is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Professional memberships include The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Christine Bitetti earned her B.A. in Neuroscience from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine where she was captain of the women’s tennis team. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked in clinical research at Ophthalmic Research Associates and at Harvard Clinical Research Institute in Massachusetts.

After graduating from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute Marina worked for various SPAs in the Philadelphia area. She joined Ringpfeil Advanced Dermatology in Early 2013 with expertise in facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser treatments.
Marina is a local Lower Merion mom for three boys. She worked for years at her family business until she decided few years ago that it is time to do what she always wanted to do - make people feel better about themselves and about the way they look. She is funny and her patients love her. We fill very fortunate to have on our team.
Dana is an experienced licensed medical aesthetician who has been practicing skin care on the mainline since she graduated from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in 2006. She is certified in Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Laser Hair Removal, Laser Skin Rejuvenation, Laser Skin Resurfacing, Laser Skin Tightening, and Body Sculpting.
Dana started her career at Shanti Med Spa, where she gained extensive experience working with all skin types. She is highly knowledgeable about skincare and wellness while being passionate about her patients’ satisfaction.
Dana graduated from Penn State University in 2005 with Bachelor of Arts degree.
Bao is a seasoned aesthetician with solid foundations in skin anatomy and diseases, as well as rejuvenation of the body, mind, and spirit.
Before joining Ringpfeil Advanced Dermatology, Bao provided aesthetic services at top medical spas on the Mainline and in the Philadelphia area. She graduated the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute from where she also got her certification.
Ashley is a seasoned medical aesthetician with 9 years of experience. Ashley, who created for herself an outstanding reputation while practicing at medical spas on the Mainline and in Philadelphia, is a great addition to our team.
Lisa joined Ringpfeil Advanced Dermatology in August of 2011,after managing her husband Construction business since 2004. She also worked in the fitness industry, where she instructed senior citizens and managed the pool. Lisa has enjoyed learning about dermatology while working for Dr. Ringpfeil. She enjoys interacting with patients and making them feel welcome. Lisa has been married for 15 years, she has 3 beautiful daughters, two dogs and a cat. Out of the office she enjoys running and swimming. Lisa also enjoys hiking with her family
