Overview:

A range of non-laser light sources are used to target red and brown discoloration of the skin and to deliver heat into the skin at negligible downtime. Collagen production is minor.

Expected results:

Highly variable degrees of diminished facial, neck and chest redness, reduction of brown spots (sun spots), and firmer skin.

Preparation:

Daily use of sunscreen.

Post treatment instructions:

Daily use of sunscreen. Your normal skin care regimen can be resumed the night of the treatment.

Time to desired results:

4-8 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart.

Duration of desired effects:

Several months to a year.

Contraindications:

Recent tan, skin types that never burn (including Mediterranean and Asian skin), isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past 6 months, history of phenol peel.

Downtime:

Sunburn-like redness for less than 24 hours

It would be helpful to have some later evening hours, but the early morning hours work for me too!

I have a suggestion: I noticed that two of the lovely rugs pose hazards to patients using walkers or who may have other mobility issues. The large rug placed at an angle and the narrow rug placed in front of the reception desk leave no room for these individuals to safely manuveur around the reception area and are likely to contribute to fall risks. I would suggest leaving these areas clear.

How about a smile to greet a brand new patient? How about explaining that I need to go and fill out info on the computer instead of pointing over there you need to complete things. I felt like walking out by the rudeness. The medical assistant and phys asst were extremely kind, thorough and helpful. I realized that I was here to seek help for my child and received amazing medical help. Thank you.
