Solar lentigos are often referred to as sun or age spots. They may occur in all sun exposed areas and result from UVA exposure. Many treatments are available to remove them from the skin without scarring.
Treatment regimens are tailored to your skin and also depend on other problems that are desired to be corrected at the same time. In general, each spot appears darker after treatment until the skin has flaked off after about 10 days.
